We bill your insurer directly and handle the paperwork, so you don't have to.
Plenty of drivers in the valley carry glass coverage and never use it, mostly because the claim sounds like a headache. We'll wrangle that part for you. Call us with your insurance card, and we'll get your insurer on the line, set up the claim, and bill them directly. You cover your deductible if your policy has one, and we handle the rest. We're locally owned right here in Glenwood Springs, and a real person picks up the phone every time.
Your insurance card and your vehicle's year, make and model. That's it.
We'll get your insurer on a three-way call, set up the claim together, and bill them directly. It usually takes about 10 minutes.

ACS Custom Auto Glass Boutique started with one principle: do the job right, every time, no shortcuts. We're based right here in Glenwood Springs, serving drivers across the Roaring Fork Valley, from Glenwood to Aspen, New Castle to Carbondale.
What makes us different from the big national glass shops isn't just that we're local. We're I-CAR certified for ADAS calibration, one of very few glass shops in Colorado that can say that, and we handle it in-house after every replacement. We also carry DuPont-qualified technicians for PPF and tint. One shop, all the services, done right every time.
We're an approved shop in the network most major insurers use for glass claims, and that network covers roughly 150 insurance companies. Odds are good yours is on the list. Here are some of the biggest names, along with the number each one uses for auto glass claims.
Even easier: call us first. We'll set up a three-way call with your insurer and start the claim together.
Give us a call anyway. Chances are we can still bill them directly.

In most cases, yes. Windshield damage that doesn't come from a crash, like a rock kicked up by a gravel truck on I-70, a hailstorm, or a branch coming down in the wind, usually falls under comprehensive coverage. So does insurance cover a cracked windshield? If you carry comprehensive, it usually does. Damage from a collision is typically handled under collision coverage instead.
Every policy reads a little differently, so your insurer always has the final word. The good news is we can check your coverage with them on the phone while you're with us.
Comprehensive coverage usually comes with a deductible, and for a full replacement, that deductible typically applies. Say yours is $500 and the replacement costs more than that: your insurer covers the difference. If the job costs less than your deductible, filing a claim doesn't make much sense, and we'll tell you so straight.
Repairs are often a different story. Many insurance companies waive their own deductible when a chip can be repaired instead of replaced, so it pays to catch damage early. Rules vary by insurer and policy (as of 2026), so check yours or ask us to check with you. And if your deductible does apply, you can use Klarna to split it into smaller payments instead of paying it all at once.
Full glass coverage is an add-on some insurers offer that lowers or removes the deductible on glass claims. With it, a windshield replacement may cost you little or nothing out of pocket, depending on your policy.
Not sure if you have it? Your policy's declarations page will say, or we can find out on a quick call with your insurer.
Glass, calibration, tint and paint protection, all in one shop. Some of these are typically covered by insurance. Others are upgrades you pick for yourself.

Windshield ReplacementSmall chips fixed fast, before Colorado's temperature swings turn them into cracks. A quick repair keeps your original factory seal in place.
Rock Chip RepairI-CAR certified recalibration of the cameras and sensors behind lane assist and collision warnings, done in-house after every replacement that needs it.
ADAS CalibrationDuPont-qualified installs that cut heat and glare without blocking your view. Insurance typically covers re-tinting only when the broken glass was already tinted.

Paint Protection FilmWe're a certified ExoShield installer and one of the first shops on the Western Slope to offer windshield film. It helps your glass shrug off rock hits, and it pairs well with a brand-new windshield.

Your insurer pays us, so you're not fronting the cost and chasing a check.
We get you and your insurer on the line together and set up the claim, usually in about 10 minutes.
Camera and sensor recalibration done right, in-house, after every replacement that needs it.
Insurance jobs can often be done at your home or work. Vehicles that need ADAS calibration come into the shop so we can recalibrate the cameras properly.
Use Klarna to split your deductible into smaller payments.
If you're an insurance agent with clients across the valley, or you run a fleet of work trucks and vans, glass claims tend to show up in herds. Send your clients or drivers our way. We'll get the carrier on the line, schedule the work, and keep everyone posted, so you're not stuck playing middleman.
Newer fleet vehicles often need ADAS calibration after a windshield replacement, and we handle that in-house too. One call, one shop, and the job gets done right.
Get a QuoteHere's something a lot of drivers don't know. Under Colorado law (C.R.S. 10-4-613), your insurance company can't require you to use a particular glass shop as a condition of paying your claim, and it has to pay for the shop you choose. Your insurer may still recommend one, and that's fine. The final call is yours, and you're welcome to keep it local.
Some insurers route glass claims through an online scheduling site that suggests a national chain first. Look for a small button or link that says something like "choose another shop" or "select a different provider." Click it, find ACS, and pick us from the list of approved shops.
Stuck on the screen? Call us. We'll walk you through it, or we'll set up the claim with your insurer by phone instead.
